Very noisy bar downstairs, drunks smoking on the street outside. Shouting till the early morning in and outside hotel, expect very little sleep. #3 channels available on TV. Shockingly bad free meal, in our case macaroni cheese with a feint cheese smell?

It did not have the same amenities as advertised on this site. Rooms were not ready when we arrived for check-in, because apparently our requests did not "come through", blaming Booked.net for the mishap. Wifi does not reach all areas of the hostel - we had to go down to get near the hotspot. The room was not clean (I.E. trash can was still full of rubbish from previous occupant, bubble gum stuck on bedframe). Not worth the money. Almost spoiled our trip to Wellington!!!

I had a wonderful, unforgettable experience staying at a central oasis for nomads of all sorts. The hostel's activity room mixed with a kitchen provided a great way to relax and socialize. The location in the city center made it easy to explore and the shower and comfortable bed added to the pleasant experience. I highly recommend staying here.

Room smelt very festy - not sure if it was the bedding. Also on nights when the bar below was going late you could hear the music from the room. Traffic noise also a problem. But what you would expect from a backpackers place - the positives outweight the benefits.

I did appreciate being on my own with an ensuite all to myself It could have been 4 mixed!!--that would have been ghastly

I am 77 and had no experience of the lift lock and how to release it with the key Sometimes the 'key' had to be inserted horizontally sometimes vertically and I had no idea how the 'Key' operated with the lights All that meant 5 or 6 extra trips to the desk from the end of the corridor to the lift for one who does not walk easily A simple question from the desk "Are you familiar with these keys? would have surficed

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Wellington, making it easy to access restaurants, coffee shops, and attractions such as the Civic Theatre and Te Papa Museum. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with well-sized ensuite bathrooms. The mattresses and pillows could be more comfortable.

Room was having twin bed which we actually needed as we had a small kid.

I think in private en suite Hotel should provide Tea coffee machine and a mini fridge,while booking online through Booked.net it was showing that you people provide such facilities but when we checked in it was not there,anyways its a good place to stay but with a small kid its difficult.

Friendly staff, great location near Cuba Street, good water pressure in the shower, bed comfort was decent despite slight squeakiness.

Bedding was quite light & heater was needed to get body heat up for sleeping. Plan on midnight bed time (after the band stops downstairs) & it is a great place.

My internet reservation had not been recorded as a booking - although I was given, after some considerable time delay, another room an upgrade I found the quality of the upgraded room for the price not up to standard and will consider staying somewhere else next time.

I recently stayed at Nomads Capital Backpackers in Wellington for a weekend getaway. The manager and her team provided exceptional customer service, particularly when I arrived unwell after a hospital stay. The central location was excellent, with shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby. I loved the complimentary pancakes every morning and the free dinner voucher. The reception area had free, fast WiFi, although WiFi in the room required an additional fee.

Recommend this hotel.

Room was not made up.Queue at front desk was far too long. One man was working and two women were sitting at desks in back room. They should have come and helped. People checking in at 5pm should not enter the room and find it not cleaned, beds made etc. Too much noise both inside and outside so hard to sleep.
